If you notice that your key fob becomes less responsive when you hit the lock or unlock button, it may be time to replace its battery.

Using a fingernail, carefully remove the cover from the back of the key fob. Under the cover on a diagonal close to the edge of the body, you'll find a button. You can remove it by sliding it downwards, then to the right. The cover will come out and slide off and reveal the manual key blade in! If you still can't locate the button, search the newly revealed manual key access area to see whether there is a hidden slot or lever.
